What is Calcific Aspiration?

Calcific tendinitis is a condition where calcium deposits form in the supraspinatus tendon of the shoulder, causing severe pain — especially at night. Calcific aspiration uses real-time ultrasound guidance to locate the deposit precisely, then a patented fragmentation instrument physically breaks up the calcium, which is then aspirated out via syringe.

Conventional lavage and aspiration methods (1st and 2nd generation) often fail to remove hardened calcified deposits. Is calcific aspiration effective? What are the real results?＋

Across 18 real cases at Platinum Clinic, patients experienced significant reduction in night pain within the day of procedure to a few days afterward. I've had multiple shockwave sessions with no improvement. Can calcific aspiration help?＋

Shockwave therapy stimulates calcium deposits but does not physically remove them. Many cases at Platinum Clinic involve patients who had unsuccessful shockwave treatment elsewhere. A single calcific aspiration session physically fragments and aspirates the calcium, leading to resolution of pain.

Is calcific aspiration a one-session procedure?＋

How long does the procedure take and what is the recovery time?＋
